Putting learning into action...

Hello fellow travellers, What an interesting day I have had.As part of my employment as a teacher aide I was given the opportunity to to use my newfound elearning knowledge and skills with a class of year 5's. The Teacher was introducing power points when one of the students asked if you could make the pictures talk. I was able to confidently demonstrate how to create both a 'blabberize' and a 'voki' character. This engaged the students gave them the opportunity to develop their Higher order thinking skills. As for me, it reinforced the relevence of aquirring underpinning knowledge.
